The Rooms

We now have a collection of rooms, each with its own character and special charm. Our guest rooms are named after beloved family members and dear friends. With them in mind, we have decorated to capture the essence of each individual, using their cherished belongings, as well as antiques, finds and family heirlooms.

Select a room with a queen-size bed, or if you rather not share, some rooms feature a full-size and a twin-size bed. All baths are private. Whichever room you choose, you'll find all the cozy comforts you'll want to enjoy year after year.

Miz D.L. Brown's Room is named for a family friend and mentor whom we met during our Nashville days. It is furnished to capture Miz Brown's elegant, yet easy-going style. The room features a queen bed and a private bath.

As soon as you step into Mr. Bigelow's Room, you'll know that this gentleman loved gardening. Named after Bob's dad who had to make do with rooftop gardens, it has a queen bed and private bath.

The M&M Room is named after both our grandmothers: Marta & Marianna (not the candy!). It is furnished with many of their cherished belongings. This room features a full & twin size bed, as well as a private bath.

	Room rates range from $95 - $145 for double occupancy, depending on the season and room preference. There is a $10 charge for an additional person in the room.
	A deposit or credit card reservation is required to confirm your reservation.
	Cancellations must be received 10 days prior to reserved date for a full refund.
	We cannot accept pets.
	All rooms at the Commonwealth Cottage are non-smoking.
	Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is by 11:00 a.m.
